Resources
As a solo therapist offering online therapy, I'm not able to provide every level of care. Some situations call for immediate, in-person, or specialized support — including mental health crises, active suicidal thoughts, domestic violence or abuse, substance use treatment, and eating disorder care.
Below you'll find trusted crisis lines, culturally specific resources, and directories to help you find the right support — whether that's urgent help right now, a therapist who shares your background, or a referral because we're not quite the right fit for ongoing work together. These resources are specific the US and in some cases California.
If you are in crisis or immediate danger, please use the 24/7 Crisis Support resources below, call 911, and/or go to your nearest emergency room.
24/7 Crisis Support
-
The primary three-digit, nationwide hotline connecting individuals to free, confidential support during a mental health, suicidal, or substance use crisis. In California, 988 automatically routes callers to one of the state's 12 localized crisis call centers to ensure relevant, regional resources are provided.
Call/Text: 988 (Available 24/7, English & Spanish)
Website/Chat: 988lifeline.org
For In-Person Mobile Crisis Support: If you are in California and require an in-person, non-police response team to come to your location, call 988 and explicitly ask the dispatcher for a "Mobile Crisis Team dispatch."
Area Code Tip: 988 routes your call based on your phone's area code, not your current GPS location. If you are calling from an out-of-state or out-of-county area code, make sure to tell the operator your exact current city or neighborhood right away so they can connect you to the correct local response team.
